Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø of Evil Twin, the Danish creator of "Hipster Ale" among other brews, will be at The Dawson tonight for an unconventional beer dinner. Instead of a sit down dinner, they'll have five food stations with fare that will go well with the six Evil Twin brews served at the bar which include the critically-acclaimed Imperial Biscotti Break stout.

You might recognize Jeppe from a recent New York Times article about his relationship (or rivalry) with his brother, Mikkel Borg Bjergso who runs the Mikkeller brewery. Both are "gypsy" brewers who travel the world and brew in many places rather than from a central location.

The Aviary has done some collaborations with Mikkeller such as The Forager, a stout with black truffles. The Aviary has been agnostic on the rivalry though- The New York Times reports they are also collaborating with Jeppe on a brew with blueberries and cured raisins. Could this have to do with the newest Kokonas and Achatz bar project?

The event starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. Attendees can come and go at their leisure. Tickets are available online here for $60 each. The Dawsonis located at 730 W. Grand Ave.
