Pencil This In: The 606 Green Line Party At Weegee's Lounge
By Chuck Sudo in Food on Apr 29, 2014 5:30PM
Goose Island Beer Company and The Trust for Public Land recently announced a partnership where a portion of the sales from Goose Island's Green Line Pale Ale will benefit The 606 project that includes the Bloomingdale Trail and its surrounding parks. The draft-only Green Line Pale was created with a low carbon footprint in mind and this partnership is a natural fit.
To celebrate the partnership a party will be held 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. April 30 at Weegee's Lounge, one of several businesses within distance of the Bloomingdale Trail. Green Line and several other Goose Island selections will be on draft and representatives from the Trust for Public Land will be on hand to discuss new developments in The 606 project. (3659 W. Armitage Ave.)
