Today's Weather: Still No Lamb In Sight

The old saying goes that if March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb. As we enter May many of us are still hunting for that poor lamb that clearly lost its way to Chicago. We'll spend most of the first day of May dodging spells of showers and drizzle with a what some are calling blustery and others are calling breezy conditions. So basically more rain and wind.

Although we'll reach the low 50s, highs in the afternoon are 14-degrees below normal, which will contribute to the day's "damp, raw feel" in the disheartening words of Tom Skilling. A glutton for punishment, Skilling also points out that today's high is equal to the normal high for March 26. Ouch.
