New Chance The Rapper Track Gets Nearly 600,000 Plays In Two Days

Since being posted on Soundcloud two days ago, a new track from Chatham-based emcee Chance The Rapper, who blew up considerably last year after the release of his second mixtape, Acid Rap, got almost 600,000 plays.

The track, called "I Am Very, Very Lonely," is nothing if not direct. It's a slow jam's slow jam, filled with romantic electronic flourishes, and a steady, downtempo beat. The track has Chance more singing than rapping which, if you look at some of the comments, doesn't exactly thrill some fans. Still, it's new Chance The Rapper, which should make music fans very, very excited. "I Am Very, Very Lonely" seems set to appear on Acid Rap follow-up The Social Experiment. Listen to it below:
