Pencil This In: Food Truck Rally In The West Loop Today

The Salsa Truck is hosting a food truck rally outside their Garage restaurant tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The rally will feature barbecue from Husky Hog, Beaver Donuts, Jamaican from Jerk 312, sandwiches from The Fat Shallot, Haute & Ready, and Chicago Cupcake.
Beyond this, mobile food fans will be happy to hear that the city is clearing six new locations downtown for food truck usage and Rahm is trying to work with street cart vendors to allow them to sell a greater variety of food..
The Salsa Truck's Garage is located at 116 N Aberdeen St.
