Today's Weather: Gonna Make You Sweat

It's been a few months since we saw temperatures near 90 degrees—Sept. 11, to be exact. Yet Skilling Central's forecast has the mercury topping out at 88 degrees today. The normally pragmatic Accuweather forecast is also optimistic we'll cross the 80-degree threshold, accompanied by a mix of clouds and sun throughout the day before rain and thunderstorms arrive this evening and overnight. You can feel a slight mugginess in the air already. It isn't hotter than July; it's only the latest twist in some fairly unpredictable weather of late.
