Radio legend Steve Dahl likes to call Friday night "Pizza Night in America." Tonight the Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild take the ice in Game 4 of their Stanley Cup Western Conference playoff semifinal series. One pizzeria has taken their Blackhawks fandom to another level and created a pizza some fans may consider too sacred to eat.

Punky's Pizza and Pasta, whose motto is "if your last pizza was funky, call Punky," has been offering a 16-inch pizza to customers made to resemble Chief Blackhawk. Black olives are used to shape Chief Blackhawks smile and hair, while peppers are used to fashion the feathers in Blackhawk's hair. The pizzas sell for $18.95. owner Vince Scarlata told DNAInfo Chicago Punky's sold around 20 pies for Monday night's Game 1. Punky's employee Bobby Phillips told Chicagoist since Game 1 they've sold "a crazy amount" of the Blackhawks pies. As for whose idea it was to come up with the Blackhawks pizza, Phillips said it was a group effort.

Punky's Pizza and Pasta is located at 2600 S. Wallace St., 312-842-2100
