White Sox 9, Arizona 3
The White Sox retooled offense continues to hit the ball hard and drive in runs. They exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning to beat the Diamondbacks at 35th and Shields. Jose Abreu, Tyler Flowers and Alexei Ramirez all went deep; Ramirez's shot was a grand slam. Alejandro De Aza was 3-for-5 at the plate with an RBI. It was enough offense for Andre Rienzo to earn his third win of the season.

Atlanta 3, Cubs 2
Jason Hammel had a strong outing on the mound but the Cubs' offense couldn't provide the offense to get him a win. Ryan Kalish did force extra innings with a ninth inning RBI but the Braves Freddie Freeman won the game in the 10th by driving in Jason Heyward with a single. Hammel pitched seven innings, allowed two runs and struck out five.
