How funky has the weather been in Chicago this year? It's mid-May and there are reports of snow falling in suburbs such as Schaumburg and Elgin. Keep calm and stop cursing; it won't stick today. Here in the city proper we have rain and I have my fireplace running, which I didn't expect to type at this point of the year. But we'll maintain through the morning as the rain begins to subside and the temps will climb into the lower 50s. The average high temp for this time of year? Seventy degrees. Light northeast winds and serious cloud cover may have you reaching for something to lift your spirits today. The weather will begin to pick up Saturday and we should see full sunshine by Sunday.
