Plenty Of Spots Still Available For Bike The Drive

Have you taken a look at the forecast for Sunday? It's perfect weather for Bike the Drive, even if the thoroughfare itself may not be in the best condition to handle the over 14,000 cyclists (including yours truly) who have registered to participate.

That number, by the way, is far below the goal of 20,000 set by the Active Transportation Alliance for Sunday. And Lake Shore Drive can certainly hold 20,000 cyclists. Take a look at this video from last year's event.

Discounted prices for the event are long gone but you can still register and save on other events like the Bike to Brew event July 26; the Four Star Bike and Chow Sept. 7 or package Bike the Drive with a membership in the Active Transportation Alliance.
