Today's Weather: Bad Moon Rising

Good Morning, everyone. Down here at Chicagoist's Bridgeport headquarters we have a nice mix of clouds and sun as the flights from Midway Airport's new landing pattern stream overhead. You really can see the landing gear lowering. Today's forecast calls for increasing cloudiness and humidity and a severe weather warning heading into the evening, which may put a crimp in any plans you had for being out on the town.
The severe weather warning starting this afternoon is expected to bring heavy wind gusts, strong thunderstorms over a majority of the Chicago area and even hail in spots. It isn't a plague; it will just seem like one.
