Today's Weather: Thank You

Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day and was established to honor both Union and Confederate soldiers who were killed during the American Civil War. These days it has been extended to honor all American soldiers killed in battle. As a Navy veteran I've taken Memorial Day and Veterans Day more to heart as I've grown older and have asked readers in the past to thank the veterans in their lives for their service. Today is no different; thank them today and every day.
Then go out and enjoy a perfectly pleasant morning and early afternoon before the storms roll in.
