Miss Spoken is a new live lit/storytelling series produced and hosted by Carly Oishi and Rosamund Lannin debuting at Gallery Cabaret 7 p.m. May 28. Each show will have a theme with the featured readers writing stories based on it. This month's theme is "boobs" and will feature readings by Samantha Irby, Natasha Samreny, Melane LaForce, Jasmine Davila and Alicia Swiz. It would be easy to say show up for the boob talk but Irby, Oishi, Lannin, Swiz, Davila and LaForce are all accomplished writers who will make an audience think before they react. This has all the markings of being a hell of a show. (2020 N. Oakley Ave.)
