Pencil This In: Chicago Alternative Comics Expo

Celebrate the world of alternative, independent and underground comic books this weekend with the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo at Center on Halsted May 31-June 1. Inspired by Chicago’s rich legacy as home to many of underground and alternative comics’ most talented artists, the expo features a wide array of panels, signings, sales exhibitions and workshops geared to strengthening the comics community and encouraging a dialogue among small presses, artists, publishers/distributors and readers of independent comics.
