Pencil This In: Lumpen Comix Issue Party

Lumpen Times, the long-running arts and culture magazine, celebrates the release of its second annual all-comics issue with a party at the Co-Prosperity Sphere starting 8 p.m. tonight. The issue, edited by Joe Tallarico, features an international sampling of some of the best comic artists on the planet, some of whom will be exhibiting their work at the release party. Local experimental band Shapers will create music based on the artists' works. The $10 admission includes a copy of the magazine and a complementary beer. (3219-21 S. Morgan St.)
