Sure, last night's loss was one that was hard for Blackhawks fans to swallow, especially as Alec Martinez's winning goal bounced off Nick Leddy's shoulder. But it also serves as a barometer of how fast and loyal the Blackhawks' fan base has become in a short amount of time.
Forbes looked at the brand loyalties of all NHL hockey teams and determined the Blackhawks have the most loyal fans in hockey. But a good win-loss record and being a perennial playoff contender. Forbes also looked at other factors such as game attendance, television viewership and merchandise sales and determined that all of you wearing red and black equals more green for the former Stanley Cup champions, which means better flexibility in being able to remain a perennial playoff contender.
