Pencil This In: Sabertooth At The Charleston

The Ratchet Series that formerly used to call Skylark home on Monday nights has found a new home at The Charleston in Bucktown and kicks off its new residency with a bang tonight with a rare non-weekend, non-Green Mill appearance from Sabertooth, the popular organ quintet that has filled the wee small hours at the Uptown club with cool jazz for as long as we've been able to drink.

Additionally, Chicago Reader music critic Peter Margasak will be spinning tunes before Sabertooth plays, between sets and after they end to keep the party going until last call. It's a great way to kick off the week. (2076 N. Hoyne)
