Look on the bright side, readers. There are only 97 days left until the Bears kick off the 2014 regular season. Today's forecast is for those of you who don't want to let go, with muggy conditions, highs in the mid- to upper-80s and a sturm und drang of wind and overcast skies throughout the day threatening rain later this evening. It wouldn't be softball season without some threat of rain on game day.
