Mott Street Shows Off Their Patio For A Sake Dinner And A Barbecue

By Melissa McEwen in Food on Jun 9, 2014 9:30PM

Mott Street (1401 N. Ashland Ave.) is making good use of its relaxing patio with a sake pairing dinner tomorrow and a backyard barbecue on Sunday.

The sake dinner pairings include the organic Mutemuka sake with a dish of duck hearts and strawberries, which highlights the savory notes in the sake. All the sakes come from the Floating World portfolio, which specializes in small batch imports.

Three seatings for the sake dinner are available on Tuesday June 10. Tickets and the full menu are available at Brown Paper Tickets for $65 each.

The barbecue on Sunday June 15 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. celebrates Mott Street's one year anniversary and will feature whole suckling pig served by the 1/2 pound with steamed bao and slaw for $15 as well as new cocktails like “Ants on a Log” with celery and sparkling red wine. Reservations accepted, but walk-ins are welcome.
