The Onion And A.V. Club Come Together For Some Beautiful Comedy

2014_06_26th_annual_comedy_festival.jpg A whole, wonderful weekend of comedy is just a week away! The Onion and A.V. Club are hosting their 1st Annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival in Chicago from June 12-14. Taking place at the Athenaeum Theatre, comedians Scott Aukerman, Tig Notaro, Kyle Kinane and Marc Maron will be on hand for the weekend of silliness. Let’s get to know the performers a little better shall we?

Scott Aukerman
Host of “Comedy Bang! Bang!” on IFC, producer and director of the Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis, and creator of the Comedy Bang Bang show that plays at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles every Tuesday night.

Tig Notaro
She’s been nominated for a Grammy and has appeared on shows like The Office, The Sarah Silverman Show and Community.

Kyle Kinane
Originally from Illinois, he’s performed all over the United States as well as on Comedy Central and Conan.

Marc Maron
Writer and performer, Maron has appeared on Conan 48 times and hosts a popular WTF with Marc Maron podcast, in which he interviews fellow writers and comedians including Louis CK, Judd Apatow and Conan. He also has a show on IFC called Maron.
