The Chicago area was under a tornado watch when we woke up this morning. That's now been lifted but it's still a bit breezy outside, which is an understatement given how deeply the boughs of the trees are bending outside Chicagoist's Bridgeport headquarters.
The cool side of this meteorological pillow is the winds are providing some comfort from the humidity. Currently it's 80 degrees and muggy en route to a high in the upper 80s. Skilling Central has us pegged for highs in the low 90s. We're supposed to get some rain, starting with a morning shower and isolated showers in the evening. Overnight lows will be in the 70s as the clouds will stay with us through the week.
