Pencil This In: Thai Festival At Federal Plaza

Take a Thai lunch break at the three-day Thai Festival at Federal Plaza (Adams & Dearborn), which kicked off today at 11 a.m. with a drum parade opening ceremony. The festival features a variety of Thai foods from 21 local restaurants. Cooking demos include papaya salad, tom kha soup, and pad thai.

Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the last day is the June 20. View the schedule at their Facebook page. Admission is free and food costs from $2 to $7 per dish.
