Blackhawks To Face Capitals In 2015 Winter Classic

The Chicago Blackhawks will play in their second NHL Winter Classic when they travel to Washington, DC to take on the Capitals New Year's Day. The site of next season's Winter Classic hasn't been finalized but it's believed Nationals Park, home of Washington's MLB team, will be the venue.

The Hawks, fans will remember, played in the 2009 Winter Classic at Wrigley Field against the Detroit Red Wings and played the Pittsburgh Penguins at Soldier Field last February. It's another nod to the Blackhawks as they've risen to become one of the NHL's marquee teams.
