Weekend Food And Drink Picks: Moody Tongue Brewery's Pair Up, Rosé On The Roof, Wicker Park Bucktown TAP

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are three great events including an opportunity to taste Moody Tongue's new beers, tasting rosé on Fountainhead's Roof, and a beer festival at Chop Shop.

Saturday, June 21

New Pilsen brewery Moody Tongue will pair their intriguing new beers with food from six local restaurants at Thalia Hall (1807 S. Allport St.) from 3 to 6 p.m. Their brews are made with unique fruits like paw paw and spices like crushed green coriander. Restaurants that will be pairing include Nightwood and Vie. Tickets are $25.

Sunday, June 22

Fountainhead (1970 W. Montrose Ave.) is dedicating their rooftop to tasting rosé wines to raise money for the Swedish Covenant Hospital Breast Cancer Survivor Program. Featured wines include Guigal Rosé, Domaine Des Cedres Pay du Gard, and Ameztoi Txakolina Rosé. The tasting is from 3-6 p.m. and tickets are $30.

Wicker Park Bucktown TAP is bring local breweries and restaurants to Chop Shop (2033 W. North Ave.) to pour a multitude of beers and food from 1 to 5 p.m. Participants include Forbidden Root, Dimo's Pizza, and Pipeworks Brewing Co. Tickets are $40.
