Today's Weather: Gut Instinct

Sunday's forecast proved that even a meteorologist as renowned as Tom Skilling can swing and miss once in a while. As I sat outside at Parson's Chicken & Fish getting my fill of slushies, oysters and hot chicken, it was evident Accuweather's predictions won the day.
This is why we link to both Skilling and Accuweather in these top of the morning posts, to show you the differences. Right now that's relegated to the predicted high. Skilling Central has pinned their high at around 90 degrees; Accuweather has us set for a cooler 82 degrees.
Both are predicting strong winds and developing showers in the afternoon and overnight, which may put a crimp in the evening's softball plans. Or both can be wrong and we can have another banner day of pleasant weather.
