Grant Park is expected to be completely filled this morning when Team USA faces Germany in World Cup play starting at 11 a.m. The USMNT only needs to tie the Germans to advance to the Round of 16 but they will have their hands full containing Germany, the second-ranked team in the world.

If you do head to Grant Park to watch the game be warned: alcohol will not be allowed in the park today so if you're going to act like a hooligan you'll either have to do it sober or tie one on in a bar before heading to the park. Metra, usually accommodating when it comes to drinking on a train, has also banned alcohol on trains today. Metra also warns there may be delays because of the expected rush of people heading downtown to watch the game because they're Metra.

If you cannot watch soccer without a drink in your hand, you have plenty of bars across the city to do so and they're all looking for your business.

And if you're playing hooky from work to watch the game, Team USA has a ready-made excuse for you.
