Themes of memories and love pervade the Chicago stage this week.

The Half-Life of Memory

The Chicago premiere of Jason Lindner’s The Half-Life of Memory tells the story of an aging Manhattan Project scientist haunted by the memories of his once-nimble mind and ill-fated decisions. Catch it during its last weekend. The show runs through Sunday, June 29.

Brigadoon

The Goodman’s musical offering promises to be a fresh spin on Lerner and Loewe’s classic 1947 musical about a mythical village in Scotland. We’re excited to see what fave Chicago director Rachel Rockwell does with the 28-member cast and 13-member orchestra. The show runs through Sunday, Aug. 10.

Myths and Hymns

BoHo Theatre has created a heartwarming narrative set around the newest collection of songs by Tony-award winning composer and lyricist Adam Guettel. The show runs through Sunday, July 13.
