Business Is About To Pick Up, Weather-Wise

Do you see all those pretty colors in Skilling Central’s radar prediction above? They’re bringing with them a lot of doom and gloom in time to foul up your evening commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 7 p.m. for the following Illinois counties: Boone, DeKalb, LaSalle, Lee, Ogle and Winnebago. The watch doesn’t extend to Cook, Lake or Will Counties. We’ll just have to deal with a derecho that may arrive as soon as you’re done reading this. The severe weather could bring wind gusts in excess of 70 mph, hail up to two inches in diameter, heavy rainfall and localized flooding and cloud to ground lightning.

(Needless to say our softball game this evening was canceled, again.)

No reverse rain dance will save us this evening.
