The Huddled Mass Burger Is Like The Turducken For July 4th [UPDATE]

By Melissa McEwen in Food on Jul 2, 2014 3:30PM

Update 11:10 a.m.: they sold out of them within 30 minutes.

The Huddled Mass is The Butcher and Larder's (1026 N. Milwaukee Ave) shameless creation for the city's Fourth of July grillers. It's bourbon-cured foie gras wrapped in BBQ short ribs which is in-turn wrapped with ground beef.

It's available starting today in limited quantities alongside comparatively mild offerings like Roasted Pepper-Almond-N’Duja Dip and Smoked Pig Head Baked Beans.
