Tickets For Chi Festiv-Ale Go On Sale At Noon

In a city filled with beer tastings, festivals and other special events centered on suds, the eighth annual Festiv-Ale: a Celebration of Beer remains one of our favorites. Held at Carmichael's steakhouse in the West Loop every year, the event features some rare and otherwise unavailable beers sprinkled among the participating local breweries and distributorships, heavy appetizers and other food to provide guests with enough of a base to maintain their drinking throughout the event, collaborative beers between breweries and restaurants, music acts, silent auction items and "tower of beer" raffles.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Greater Illinois Chapter. Tickets to the Sept. 12 event go on sale at noon. General admission tickets are $65 and the event runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. VIP tickets ($100) will gain you entry between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Purchase your tickets here.
