Video: A Thoughtful Tribute To Charlie Trotter

Since the passing of Charlie Trotter, there have been numerous tributes across Chicago, including the creation of the Trotter Foundation, to help continue the legacy and standard of excellence Chef Trotter brought not only to the Chicago dining scene but to the culinary world as a whole.

An example of just how much an impact Trotter made recently popped up online. A tribute video was shown at the Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival this spring and included the likes of high caliber chefs such as Daniel Boulud, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Rick Tramonto and Eric Ripert praising Trotter and his work, in and out of the kitchen. The video is also a treasure trove of photos from Trotter's childhood as well as the start of his career. Enjoy.
