Good Morning to all of you, especially those of you hosting Pitchfork sunburns and hangovers. The weather certainly cooperated for a change with the festivities in Union Park over the weekend. Today we're due for a return to typical July weather. Skilling Central says if we reach 90 degrees today it will mark only the third time this year the mercury will approach or cross that threshold this year. Oh, it's also going to be humid and the Illinois EPA has declared today to be an air pollution action day. At least we'll have mostly sunny skies to enjoy. It's a prelude to Tuesday, where the highs are expected to reach the lower 90s, along with brisk south winds and thunderstorms late in the day.
When the weather returns to normal, it really returns to normal.
