Music Video Of The Day: Churchill 'Change'

Here's one for the "I'm so Chicago" meme that was run into the ground on social media this week: I'm so Chicago I remember when WXRT broadcast out of a glorified shack in Cragin, across the street from Foreman High School on West Belmont. Whenever I tuned in I was pleasantly greeted by songs that made me curious to widen my musical perspective.

That doesn't happen as much anymore. Last night, while Kevin Robinson and I were driving to a construction site to scavenge scrap wood he could burn in his backyard fire pit, I was reminded of the glory days of 'XRT with this song. Suddenly, I was 17 again and walking with my childhood friends from Hermosa to Rolling Stones Records in Norridge on a Friday night. Good times.
