TGIFF, are we right? The sun has risen from the east but will run directly into some clouds as the day progresses, and these clouds aren't pretty. We're talking gray, gloomy, possibly holding showers clouds. In fact, the rain should start later this morning. At least we still have unseasonably cool highs to comfort us today. Expect the mercury to reach the upper 70s and maybe flirt with the 80 degree mark.

If you're out and about this evening and tonight, bring rain gear as the thunderstorms are expected to continue into the weekend.
