Weekend Playlist: Wicker Park Fest's Local Flavor

Pitchfork Music Festival, fear not. This weekend brings us Wicker Park Fest to fill that void.

Wicker Park Fest is a great opportunity to experience a weekend of live music and wonderful artwork for a low price. The festival asks for a $5 donation that goes towards the cost of the event and to the Wicker Park Chamber of Commerce, which works to sustain and promote local businesses.

This week’s playlist is a short one, but it packs quite a punch! The lineup is full of amazing artists from coast to coast, and even from abroad. In honor of local pride, all of the artists featured artists this week hail from Chicago and will be playing at the fest.

Note: Two local groups who will be playing this week don’t have any tunes that I could find on Soundcloud, but they’re both worth checking out! They are Girl Group Chicago and Space Blood
