WBEZ’s “Sound Opinions” hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot recently had director Rob Reiner on the show to discuss the original “mockumentary," This is Spinal Tap, on its 30th anniversary. (And if you’re looking for something to listen to in the office today you should download the episode.)

“Sound Opinions” is hosting a screening of This is Spinal Tap 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Millennium Park’s Pritzker Pavilion. The screening coincides with the city’s 10th anniversary celebration of Millennium Park’s opening and the summer “Movies in the Parks” series. Turn your amp up to 11, shove a cucumber in your pants, hope your Stonehenge set piece isn’t threatened with being crushed by a dwarf, and pray the rain in the forecast stays away so you can have a good night of outdoor movie watching downtown.
