If you aren't going to Lollapalooza, this is one of the best weekends to eat out at your favorite normally-crowded restaurant, as long as it's outside the comfortable radius for festival goers. Mott St (1401 N. Ashland Ave.) is hoping to attract such people looking for music in a more serene setting by opening up their beer garden for BBQ, cornhole and shaved ice cocktails set to a playlist of old school beats from Beverage Director Nate Chung.

The first 10 guests to arrive each day will receive a free bottle of their housemade sauce, either Ginger Scallion or Ssam. If you miss out on the sauce, the recipe for the ssam sauce is in last month's Bon Appetit.

The beer garden is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
