Nike, Jordan Brand and USA Basketball are bringing the World Basketball Festival to Chicago August 14 through 16. The opening ceremony takes place at the 63rd Street Beach House in Jackson Park on Thursday, August 14, and offers opportunities to check out USA Basketball gear and hear from fan-favorite players and coaches.

The Beach House will feature global and Chicago-centric basketball history exhibits throughout the festival. Several Chi-League 3v3 (open registration!) and pro-am games will take place during the weekend, the latter of which holds its finals August 17.

Along with training for the 2014 FIBA World Championships, members of the USA Team Men’s National Team will be hosting youth clinics, refurbishing community basketball courts and participating in school symposiums. They will cap off the weekend with an exhibition match against the Brazil Men’s National Team at United Center Saturday, August 16 at 8 p.m., and you can get tickets for that game here.
