By Melissa McEwen in Food on Aug 7, 2014 4:30PM

The popular Sound Opinions BBQ returns to the WBEZ Terrace at Navy Pier on Aug. 20, promising a night of fireworks, music and a feast of some of Chicago’s most delicious offerings. It’s certainly more fun than a pledge drive and you can debate the shows hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot about their musical taste while snacking on pie.

Food will be provided by The Butcher and Larder, Kuma’s Corner, Parson’s Chicken & Fish and Leghorn Chicken. Desserts include Hoosier Mama’s pie, Glazed and Infused Doughnuts and Black Dog Gelato. Diners can wash it down with Virtue Cider, Intelligentsia Coffee, Goose Island Beer, and Tenuta Santomè Wine.

Tickets are $40 for WBEZ members and $50 for non-members and are available for purchase at Eventbrite.
