Arcade Brewery Prepares To Debut Its Beers To The Public

2012_5_8_arcade.jpg Arcade Brewery has been slowly working on getting its operations going, after a successful 2012 Kickstarter campaign and series of fundraisers, including a “beer potluck.”

Now Chicago’s first crowdsourced brewery is ready to debut its first beers and they’re launching their beers with a hell of a shindig next month at Logan Arcade.

Arcade will have their first crowdsourced beers, William Wallace Wrestle Fest Scotch Ale and Grapefruit IPA, on tap, surrounded by over 80 arcade games including several multi-player options. Who doesn’t want to drink beers while playing a 6-player X-Men game, or playing a few rounds of Power Drive?

Arcade will have artist Matthew Waite on hand, painting 8-bit caricatures on classic NES backgrounds throughout the night. Fotio, a digitized camera designed to look like a turn of the century camera, will be on site providing photo booth captures. Local rapper Auggie the 9th will perform live, and Dimo’s Pizza will provide free slices while they last.

It all starts 8 p.m. Sept. 3 at Logan Arcade (2410 W. Fullerton Ave.).
