Summer has simply flown by in a rush of mild, pleasant days. That shows no sign of abating even as we head into the dog days of August. If you haven't gotten your rooftop drinking and eating fix yet, head to Little Goat Diner Tuesday, Aug. 12. Stephanie Izard and company have a rooftop Korean BBQ planned featuring hamachi collar, Kalbi ribs, chap chae, various kimchees, scallion pancakes, potstickers, bulgogi and more. All of this will be served family-style, to encourage interaction and talking to strangers at the tables.
The cost for this dinner is $65, plus tax and gratuity. Additionally, guests can buy a separate "flavor gift basket" for an additional $30. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and tickets can be purchased online. (820 W. Randolph St.)
