Tuesday Afternoon Diversion: Rebuilding Life From Above

As part of local film maker Colin Hinkle's ongoing series looking at the world from above, today we present a video of Washington, Illinois nearly a year after severe tornadoes hit the downstate town. "I wanted to show the natural beauty of the area surrounding the town and the massive rebuilding effort currently taking place," says Hinkle. Take a minute out of your day, put on your headphones and marvel at both the natural beauty of the Midwest and the resiliency of the people that call it home.
