Today's Weather: On The Surface

Here's wishing you all a good morning through all this haze on the beginning of another work week, readers. The haze may have cut the Air & Water Show short but that shouldn't keep you from seizing today and making it your own. Today's forecast calls for the skies to clear a bit in the mid-morning to the point where we may see the sun sometime this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-70s and there will be some moderate humidity to deal with.
As we head into the evening, we could see some showers and thunderstorms overnight while the lows dip into the upper 60s. That will set the stage for a warm, rainy and humid week of weather. By Friday we could see highs in the 90-degree range, a feat rarely accomplished during this mild summer.
