Pencil This In: Blue City Cycles Sidewalk Sale

The area around 32nd and Halsted Streets will be jumping Sunday. In addition to the Jackalope Coffee and Tea record fair, the neighboring Blue City Cycles is having a sidewalk sale from noon until 5 p.m. I love Blue City Cycles. In the spring I was considering buying a new bicycle as I had problems shifting gears on my current one the past few years. One trip to Blue City and I managed to have a complete overhaul of my drive train system and a spring tuneup for under $120. The drive train has given my 15-year-old bicycle a new lease on life. Maybe you'll find a new bike, in addition to some accessories, bike tools and cleaning supplies. (3201 S. Halsted St.)
