World Premiere: Download Ughh, My Parents Are Here 'You Never Asked Me'

When the line-up for the Chicago edition of Riot Fest was released a few months ago, some bands at the bottom of the bill, including Ughh, My Parents Are Here caused some to chuckle.

While no information has been yet made publicly available about the band outside what's said on their Twitter and Facebook pages, we now have an idea what they sound like. We here at Chicagoist have your first listen of the band's debut single "You Never Asked Me." It's a catchy punk tune in the same vein as the early Bay Area sound, and we admit we've found ourselves humming along to it all morning. No word on what the band's parents think of the song though.
