While cucumber and tomato are familiar sights on cocktail menus, many Chicago restaurants are incorporating less standard vegetables into their drinks.
Here are three cocktails that showcase innovative melding of vegetables and booze: from Fig & Olive (104 E. Oak St.), Two (1132 W. Grand Ave.) and Drumbar (201 E. Delaware Pl.).
We aren’t sure whether or not they count towards your daily recommended vegetable servings, but they are good enough that it shouldn’t matter.
