The great thing about a holiday weekend is the midpoint of the following work week comes around faster. Welcome to Wednesday, folks, with its clear skies, ample sunshine and forecast highs ranging between the upper 70s near the lake to the upper 80s in the outlying areas. In other words, it's a picture perfect day to do whatever you want, even if that means playing hooky from work because you have not re-acclimated yourself to the daily grind.

As we head into the evening, clouds are expected to form, we could see showers or thunderstorms before dawn Thursday and lows will dip into the lower 70s before things get muggy heading into the end of the week.
