Music Video Of The Day: Diarrhea Planet 'Platinum Girls'

Man, everything is just coming up The Adventures of Pete & Pete lately, huh? First, we got news that the show's stars are coming to Lincoln Hall next month, accompanied by the show's original house band Polaris, who will be performing their second show ever. Now, Diarrhea Planet—our absolutely favorite while absolutely unfortunately named multi-guitar overloaded band of the last couple of years—has released a video for their new single "Platinum Girls" that pays tribute to the Nickelodeon show that chronicled the adventures of those two iconic red-headed siblings. Not only does it attempt to replicate the series' opening montage, it's actually filmed in front of the original Pete & Pete house in New Jersey!

Oh, and the song is absolutely slamming. But we'd expect nothing less.
