Where To?: A Hack Memoir is Dmitry Samarov's follow-up to his 2011 book Hack. As with the first book, Where To? is filled with stories and artwork inspired from Samarov's years behind the wheel of a taxi. Samarov and publisher Curbside Splendor are beginning the process of promoting the book, which includes a release party 6 p.m., Sept. 14 at Rainbo Club (1150 N. Damen Ave.) featuring Shay DeGrandis, Bill Hillmann, Martha Bayne, Naomi Huffman, Erika Wurth and Irvine Welsh reading from the book.

Samarov is also receiving a promotional boost for the book with a series of short clips directed by John McNaughton (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Mad Dog and Glory) featuring Samarov reading his stories and creating the artwork for them.

The newest clip, "Cab Repair," is below.

The first clip, Titled "First Fare."

There are five clips total, filmed for a prospective "Chicago Hack" TV show.
