Sometimes, in order to move forward you need to take a step back. That's what the weather will do today on our slow march to a balmy weekend, thanks to some breezes from the northeast. Blowing at 10-14 mph, those winds are expected to keep mercury readings below the 70-degree mark today. That isn't doom and gloom, at all, thanks to clear skies and copious amounts of sunshine.
Things will stay clear overnight before the warming trend predicted by meteorologists all week finally takes hold on Friday. Skilling Central has highs near 80 in store for us tomorrow. Will it happen? We can afford to see how this plays out.
